There are actually not only Japanese restaurants in Japan, but also restaurants from many other countries around the world, where you can enjoy authentic cuisine from each country. During your stay in Japan, be sure to try the cuisine of your own country as well as that of other countries outside of Japan.

Many of these restaurants are named after the country their cuisine is inspired by, but there are restaurants where chefs from that particular country serve authentic dishes, and there are also restaurants where Japanese chefs arrange the food to suit the Japanese palate. We recommend that you research the restaurant's concept, menu, and chef's specialties before visiting.

In Japan, the term "Asian cuisine" refers to dishes with aromatic vegetables and spices from Thailand, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian countries, while Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and other cuisines are generally not included in the term "Asian cuisine."
